SA Women who have affairs

When it comes to SA women who have affairs there are three main types( listed below ) but very few romantics! I have placed them into these three categories-but they may not agree.

I own and run “About Lovers” in Johannesburg –the dating agency for single and attached people-and the idea that a woman will fall head over heels in love with a man she has an affair or fling with is outdated. Today’s women who have an affair or fling don’t want a man to leave his spouse for them-if they wanted a husband  they would get one or they already have one.

The three main categories are:

• Cougars
• Gold Diggers
• Playmates

Cougars

The Cougars are typically the 35-48 year old successful women who have everything except their youth.They may or may not be married but they feel there is something stale in their lives and what they want is to feel young and admired again. No amount of plastic surgery alone can achieve this -they need the proof.This comes in the form of a man 5-10 years their junior who demonstrates to them that they are still desirable..

South African Demi Moores usually don’t end up marrying these men  and once they have sufficient hard evidence of their desirability will toss them away like a used tissue and go on to the next.

Gold Diggers.

These are typically younger women who are used to being spoilt but have now fallen on lean times.They don’t mind how old the man is –think Anna Nicole Smith-as long as he is very wealthy and very generous.If sex is required by these older men they will oblige but they really regard themselves as the prize,  enough in and of itself.

Playmates

These are women of any age who crave adventure and  thrills especially, in this case, sexual exploits.One man is not enough for them as they are easily bored.Unlike many women they  easily distinguish between love and lust and don’t have a one-night stand expecting anything more the next day. In many ways these women are like the most macho- men.The men they want must be fun,uncomplicated, virile and reasonably good-looking.They tend to regard any man they’re with as their trophy and if possible will flaunt them at trendy places or parties.

So what happened to the romantics?

“Maybe it’s the business I run”, says Cherie, “or the rushed times we live in, but the women I see have differing needs and they want it all and they want it now,” she says.
